Overview
Our one-to-one specialist teaching sessions are designed to meet the unique learning needs of each student. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis of dyslexia or is simply struggling with literacy, our sessions offer structured, emotionally supportive intervention that empowers students to learn in the way that works best for them.

Sessions are delivered by qualified, experienced specialist teachers and SENCOs. Each session is tailored to support progress, build confidence, and help students develop the strategies and independence they need to thrive at school—and beyond.
What the Sessions Include

Each session is carefully adapted to suit your child’s age, learning profile, and goals. Teaching is always multi-sensory, engaging, and built around evidence-based methods.
Support may include:
-
Structured literacy or spelling intervention
-
Reading fluency and comprehension strategies
-
Working memory and processing support
-
Study skills and organisation techniques
-
Confidence-building and emotional resilience
-
Preparation for transitions (e.g. secondary school, GCSEs)
-
Reinforcement of recommendations from previous assessments or school reports
Who is it for?
This service is suitable for students aged 5–18, including those who:
-
Have a formal diagnosis of dyslexia or specific learning difficulties
-
Are struggling with reading, writing, or spelling at school
-
Need tailored support for exam preparation or study skills
-
Have additional needs such as ADHD, autism, or speech/language difficulties (please request a SEND-experienced teacher)
-
Require a specialist teaching plan before or after a full diagnostic assessment

A full diagnosis is not required to access support—screening activities will be built into the first session where needed.
