Could Dyslexia be part of the picture?
This screening service is designed to take an initial look at a learners presenting profile. It will indicate a standardised score and a risk of Dyslexia being a factor

Ideal to understand whether or not a full assessment might be worthwhile. The session identifies strengths and challenges and identifies key signs of dyslexia.
This screening builds a starting point which can help identify the support they need to meet their potential.

What’s Included in the basic screener?
1. Parent Consultation (30 minutes)
A relaxed, informal meeting (in person or online) to understand your child’s learning journey, strengths, and any concerns. This helps tailor the session to suit your child’s individual needs.

2. 1:1 Screening Session (45-60 minutes)
A one-to-one session using specialist tools and engaging activities to explore:
-
Phonological awareness (how sounds work in words)
-
Letter–sound knowledge
-
Spelling and reading strategies
-
Working memory and processing skill
-
Handwriting and motor coordination
-
Confidence and learning attitudes

3. Verbal Feedback & Next Steps (30 minutes)
We meet again to talk through what was observed — highlighting your child’s strengths, areas for development, and helpful strategies to use at home or share with school. We can also discuss further support, or full assessment options, if appropriate.
